 Healing Sessions – Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need experience with breathwork, sound healing, Reiki, or cacao ceremonies?

Not at all. All sessions are guided and suitable for beginners. You will be gently supported throughout the experience and encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

2. What should I bring to my session?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and breathe freely. You may also wish to bring a water bottle and a journal if you enjoy reflecting after your session. If anything else additional is needed, Jarna will notify you beforehand

3. What might I experience during a healing session?

Every experience is unique. Some people feel deep relaxation, emotional release, clarity, insight, spiritual connection, or a sense of calm and grounding. Your body and nervous system will respond in the way that feels most supportive for you.

 

4. What if I feel emotional during a session?

This is completely normal. Many healing modalities can gently release stored emotion or tension from the body. You will always be supported in a safe and compassionate environment.

 

5. Are these sessions safe for everyone?

Most sessions are safe for the majority of people. However, some health conditions may require modifications or may not be suitable for certain practices such as somatic breathwork. A short intake form helps ensure the session is appropriate for you.

 

6. How long are healing sessions?

Most one-on-one healing sessions range between 60–90 minutes, depending on the modality and offering. However I do not run like a clinical booking system. If something pushes us over the time-that's ok with me, if it is ok with you. Respecting both our time

 

7. What is the difference between sound healing and somatic breathwork?

Sound healing uses vibrational frequencies from instruments such as gongs, bowls, and chimes to calm the nervous system and bring the body into deep relaxation. Somatic breathwork works more actively with the breath to release stored emotion and create deeper self-awareness and transformation.

 

8. How many sessions will I need?

Some people benefit from a single session, while others prefer a deeper journey through a series of sessions or packages. This will depend on your personal intentions and what feels supportive for you.

 

9. What happens after the session?

Each session includes time for gentle integration and grounding. You may also receive reflection prompts, aftercare guidance, or suggestions to support continued integration after your experience.

 

10. I’m not sure which session is right for me. What should I do?

If you’re unsure which offering would best support you, please feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to guide you toward the session that feels most aligned with where you are right now.

11.Are these sessions a replacement for medical care?

No. Healing sessions are designed to support relaxation, wellbeing, and personal growth. They work alongside medical care but are not a replacement for professional medical treatment.
